American domestic producers are once again accused China of the issue of the RMB exchange rate. U.S. government officials said 19 days, the U.S. Department of Commerce may make a decision this week, whether China's alleged use of the RMB exchange rate subsidies to China's exports of aluminum products.

America's manufacturers claim no reason to claim China to subsidize

According to Reuters, aluminum producers in the United States recently proposed complaint, requires the U. S. Department of Commerce to come from China's aluminum products to levy tariffs. These aluminum profiles are generally used in automobile manufacturing and construction industry.

American producers in the complaint without claimed that China through undervaluation of the RMB exchange rate to give China Aluminum subsidies to exporters, thus requiring the Ministry of commerce with levy countervailing duties on the imported aluminum.

The aluminum manufacturer of legal representative of Gilbert Kaplan claims that China's RMB exchange rate low in line with the export subsidies "three main criteria", "because this is the government's fiscal policy to industry specific benefit".

Prior to this, the U.S. Department of Commerce has refused to investigate the allegations against China's different export products like the 10. But the United States domestic producers and industry organizations are still appealing, and there is no basis to say that China's undervalued exchange rate to subsidize exports.

If the US Commerce Department decided to start an investigation, it may take several months to determine whether China's exchange rate regime is illegal trade subsidies. Once the Ministry of Commerce to identify, then need to evaluate specific levied anti-dumping duties to offset the subsidy.

Tim Truman, spokesman for the U.S. Department of Commerce, said he could not comment on the details of the case. But he said, we will make a preliminary decision on the entire appeal in 21 days, determine whether the need to start anti-dumping and countervailing investigations.
